But the more we talked about it, the more we thought: what if we actually gave it a try? And then there was the jewelry. We had always loved wearing it, layering pieces, and picking out items to match our outfits—or simply because a particular design caught our eye. Yet, we often felt like we were seeing the same styles, designs, and pieces from one shop to the next. So, we decided we wanted to do things our own way. We wanted to create a brand that reflected who we are—featuring jewelry we would genuinely want to wear ourselves, but, above all, jewelry that leaves real room for memories. Because a piece of jewelry isn’t always just an accessory. It might be the piece you wore during a summer you’ll never forget. A gift received for a special occasion. Something you hold onto years later because it reminds you of a person, a place, or a moment in time. That is exactly the idea that inspired us to create Chlora: jewelry designed to accompany your own personal moments and eventually become cherished keepsakes.
WHY « CHLORA » ?
We wanted a name that was lovely, simple, and distinctive—one that didn’t necessarily require a lengthy explanation. Chlora became our name, our world, and ultimately the little project the two of us had envisioned. Today, Chlora is launching with an initial collection, but the plan is to keep it evolving—shaped by the seasons, our inspirations, and your stories. Because we don’t want to create jewelry just for a trend or a season; we want to create pieces you’ll love to wear, style, gift, and, above all, keep.
